Marelize Dingman

Marelize Dingman is Florida Appeals’ Firm Administrator. Marelize was born and raised in South Africa. In 1996, after earning her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from the North-West University in Potchefstroom, South African, Marelize moved to the United States and in 1998, was hired by fellow Florida Appeals lawyer, William D. Palmer, and Nancy Palmer of Palmer and Palmer P.A. Marelize gained valuable family law experience working with Bill and his wife Nancy, former Chair of the Marital and Family Law Section. Following Bill Palmer’s appointment to the Fifth District Court of Appeal, Marelize worked at another well-respected Orlando law firm. She also became involved in managing large corporate events and promoting South African musical artists prior to joining Florida Appeals where she’s thrilled to once again be working with Bill Palmer.

Marelize is very involved in the Central Florida community where she currently serves on the board of directors of the Global Peace Film Festival and Touched by Type 1. She has been active in dragon boating for the Orlando Health Foundation, Cops and Kids Team as well as Rotary South Africa. Marelize also volunteers her time assisting with fundraising galas of Kids Beating Cancer, Orlando Museum of Art, and with several charities which provide musical instruments to needy youth in South Africa.
